Go Back

Check out my posts from earlier.
I filled in posts from the days Melanie was visiting.

(Sorry Angela! I like to keep posts in the order that they happened.
So, Yes, I do backdate my posts.)

Bath Time

While Bryan & Melanie had a rare night out, I was able to give the kids their bath.

The bubbles and the smiles were irresistible!

Urban Toddler Fun

We took the children to play at the Urban Toddler. Elianna & Selah have been there several times. They loved introducing it to Aby & Jaycob.
Urban Toddler was so very fun with cousins!

Sadly my camera batteries were low and I didn't know the focus was acting weird sometimes. So please excuse the photos that are blurry.

Two Princesses meet the Pirate Girl!

The group of them made up their own game!

Jaycob said, "Grandma I'm Happy."

Park

After The Urban Toddler, we went to the park and had a picnic. When I showed Jaycob how to work this Digger that's all he did. He didn't even try out any of the play structure or other toys.
The river beside the park had 2 Geese and their 14 goslings. We were able to watch them swim upstream and then under the bridge where we were standing.

Planting Herbs

For Mother's Day I received plants for my herb garden from Chad, Angela & the girls. I had not had time to plant them.
Today, I had taken the children outside to play. Angela came out also and decided she might as well plant my herbs too. Well right away Jaycob & Aby were there to watch.

Angela asked if Jaycob wanted to help her.
He planted my Basil.

Of course, Aby wanted to do some too.
She planted the Dill.

#1. Dig the hole. #2. Put the plant in the hole.

#3. Fill in dirt around it. #4. Smile real big. "I did it!"

Selah & Elianna the old pros and were content just to dig in the dirt.

Marbles

Selah and Elianna really enjoyed this toy we pulled out of the garage attic.
I enjoyed watching their mommy and daddy trying to build it together.
Especially funny was that Papa slept through all the marble noise and didn't wake up until he heard Selah laughing!
