Selah Had a Little Lamb

Selah had a little lamb, little lamb, little lamb,
(Really he was on loan to the Hands On Museum)
Selah had a little lamb, whose fleece was white as snow.
His name was "Little Joe"
And everywhere that Selah went,
Selah went, Selah went,
and everywhere that Selah went,
the lamb was sure to go.
(Chase her was more like it.)
It followed her to school one day
school one day, school one day,
It followed her to school one day,
which was against the rules.
(Well, into the gift shop)

It made the children laugh and play,

laugh and play,
laugh and play,

it made the children laugh and play
to see a lamb at school.
(Elianna actually was able to pet him.)

"Why does the lamb love Selah so?"
Love Selah so? Love Selah so?
"Why does the lamb love Selah so,"
the eager children cry.
(I think it liked Selah best
because she was closest to him in size.)

University of Michigan Boys!

Happy mom of twins! This is the first photo of both of them together.
Micah is in the mostly blue & gold cap.
Levi is in the mostly gold & blue cap.
The NICU nurses were kind enough to propose and then find the complimenting hats for this photo op.

Holding!!!

It is so exciting being able to hold the boys. Yesterday, I held Levi for about an hour and today I held Micah. This is a big step for them even though it's limited to parents & grandparents at this time.

I'm holding Micah in both of these pictures. Does my shirt clash or what?

Sisters meeting Brothers

Both girls were very eager to meet their new brothers.
This was their first glimpse of brother Micah.

Elianna checking out Levi.
She was very curious about his belly button.

Thought I would post a picture of my unborn twin
grandsons & their Mommy.
This was taken at St. Joe's
just before her transfer to U of M.

Winter

It is definitely winter here. It has snowed every day this week on top of the 10-12" we received last weekend. Yesterday it was -14 F when Glenn went to work. That's real temp; the windchill was -25 F!!

"Dripping Icicle"
I decided to brave the cold and try out my new camera on some snow shots. This one from right outside my back door is my favorite.

View of pine trees in my backyard.

Photo of Redbud tree in my side yard.

Photo of the icicles hanging from my front porch and the top of the bushes that my husband calls his bush-o-meters. He says they tell him how much snow has fallen. All I know is that the snow is over the top of my boots and my feet are wet & cold!

Big Girl Panties!

Yes, Selah is now potty trained and wearing big girl panties. She accomplished this feat the first week in January. Good thing, as I'm sure her parents didn't want or need 3 children in diapers. Selah is very proud of herself. Her cutest saying is "I better go potty now" not I need to go but I better go.
