The Milan Library had a music concert as their grand opening for the Summer Reading Program. The lady did some geography with a stuffed globe, sang songs & used instruments from around the World. Levi & Micah had their first Grandma Day.Yes, each child gets started younger & younger! Actually the girls had a playdate so I watched the twins so Angela could go too! I took pictures, fed, diapered, held , and played with them. I was rewarded with tons of smiles, coos & a little spit-up. It was a great Grandma Day!!!!

I took the girls bowling for their first time. I had signed up for this program where the girls can bowl 2 free games every weekday this summer. (Thanks for the info Melanie!) This was a wonderful event with many trucks and vehicles for the girls to explore. Yes, Selah is now potty trained and wearing big girl panties. She accomplished this feat the first week in January. Good thing, as I'm sure her parents didn't want or need 3 children in diapers. We visited a new play place today. It is in an old church that looks like a castle including the huge stained glass windows. Everything inside was themed towards fairy tales. Plus it was all decorated for Christmas with at least 10 different trees. The climbing structure was especially nice since the bottom layer was easy enough for Selah. Lately, Elianna's big thing is to Climb. She climbs everything outside that will challenge her skills. Of course, most of the pictures are of her backside. Climbing "Her Tree" in our front yard.This wall was scary for even this normally nonchalant Grandma. It was easily twice as tall as I. Today Elianna and I went to the Circus. It was the exact type of Circus that I like for young children. It had one ring, outside with bleachers set up around the ring. Chad's Father's Day Present:Chad and Angela invited us over for dinner. Chad grilled steak, chicken , shrimp, veggies & potatoes. After The Urban Toddler, we went to the park and had a picnic. When I showed Jaycob how to work this Digger that's all he did. He didn't even try out any of the play structure or other toys. The river beside the park had 2 Geese and their 14 goslings. We were able to watch them swim upstream and then under the bridge where we were standing.

Selah and Elianna really enjoyed this toy we pulled out of the garage attic.I enjoyed watching their mommy and daddy trying to build it together. Especially funny was that Papa slept through all the marble noise and didn't wake up until he heard Selah laughing!

Tiny Tots ProgramIt was a fine spring day to attend . It was sunny and 72 degrees! First thing she wanted to do was visit the craft stations.Here she made a rain stick. She also made a noise maker-shaker. Next we went to the "Critter House"She was able to pet a bunny, touch a box turtle, see a newly hatched dove, and watch an iguana.Then we went on a 45 minute hike which started at the log pile.

Elianna and her Papaw have a routine whenever he has to leave for work. Today we went to jump at Jump City! It had been over a year since I'd been there as nanny for Sam & Abbey.
